We are delighted to welcome dancers from all over the world to participate in a series of FREE LIVE Zoom classes in the New Year! All classes are listed London time - please use a timezone converter to check your local time.
12.30 - 1.30pm (London timezone):
Pilates and conditioning for dancers (ALL levels)
Warm up for our afternoon sessions with this soothing fusion of Pilates, Yoga, fascial release and stretching. The perfect class to ease into moving again after the Winter break.
1.30 - 2.30pm: (London timezone)
Winter Wonderland Themed Festive Ballet Class
Join us to kick-off the New Year with this fun celebration of Winter music and magic. Join us for barre and light centre work; expect all your favourite tunes from Frozen, Christmas classics and holiday music! This is a General Level ballet class - prior experience is required.
2.30 - 3.30pm: London timezone
Repertoire at home: (Improver level+)
Learn a famous variation adapted for an at home environment. Variation TBC. Some prior ballet experience is required. The variation will be chosen by vote closer to the time.

ABOUT OUR FREE BALLET CLASSES
We are delighted to resume our FREE/by donation ballet classes via Zoom. We welcome dancers from anywhere around the world to come and join us! We know that life (especially in London) is becoming increasingly unaffordable. Many schools (including LBC) are facing rising studio and running costs and are having to increase prices to stay afloat. Students everywhere are facing increasing barriers to participation because of this.
Ever since the pandemic, we have had a close and ongoing relationship with students from all over the world who participated in our free weekly classes during lockdown. We have continued to run these on an ad hoc basis. We are now opening these free classes up to anyone in our local community in need! We will run these sessions once a month starting in 2025.
You can join the class completely for FREE - no questions asked. However, if you are in a position to donate, any amount is super appreciated, this donation helps us to keep this offer going and expand reach to anyone interested.
